No. In other arena style games, like League of Legends, which lets be honest has and always will out perform this dying game, uses a true skill based rank system where people with 1100 ELO wont be up against people with 2100. When you look at their stats, one player has 51,000 battles total in this game. However, it is absolutely beyond frustrating for those of us who enjoy the competitive aspects of this game and the amount of hideous grind it takes to get ranked one in gold league only for that to be made exponentially more difficult due to bad players.
